Easter is almost here, just a few more days. I am very blessed to have a lot of my family close by and we get to celebrate together! This is one of my favorite things about holidays, we get to spend time with family and friends. Sometimes it is just what we need to reconnect and catch up with family we don't see as often, or in our case this year we are welcoming a newborn family member to his first Easter celebration. We are planning to have a lovely time despite the possible rain.
I am usually in charge of our desserts and this year I will be making some of my Sugar Cookis. These are vanilla sugar cookies that I top of a multitude of designs. I love being creative with the cookies and figuring out how to make the frosting into different textures and patterns to create cookies that look like the real flower or butterfly or lamb.
